Suwon FC Women Recruit National Team FW Kang Chae-rim

Suwon FC Women, who were frustrated at the summit last year, recruited national striker Kang Chae-rim.

Suwon FC Women announced on the 13th that it recruited Kang Chae-rim, who has experienced two World Cups.

Kang Chae-rim made her debut at Hyundai Steel in Incheon through the 2019 WK League Draft. She joined the A-team at a young age ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup in France in the same year. Since then, she has scored eight goals in 30 A-match games, having experienced two World Cups until the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand last year.

Suwon FC Women explained about Kang Chae-rim, "He is considered a player who will definitely reinforce Suwon FC Women's attack in 2024 because of his fast speed from the side and his ability to play using his teammates."

Meanwhile, Suwon FC Women also selected Han Ha-in and Lee Jin-joo through the rookie draft before recruiting Kang Chae-rim.

Han, who was selected as the seventh pick in the first round of the draft, is a flanker who runs 100 meters in 12 seconds. After passing through Gangwon Hwacheon Jeongsan High School and Sejong Korea University, he joined Suwon FC Women's Team and experienced a wide range of national teams by age.

Lee Jin-joo, who is seventh in the fifth round of the draft, is a midfielder who has scored a goal at the 31st Queen's National Women's Soccer Championship last year. She went to Gwangyang Girls' High School and Ulsan National University of Science in South Jeolla Province, and has experience in being called up for the national team by age. 스포츠중계

Suwon FC Women said, "We plan to try again with the goal of winning the WK League in 2024 using our experience of being the runner-up last season."

Suwon FC Women's coach Park Gil-young said, "We struggled to fill the empty spots of some of the players who played last year," adding, "I think not only Kang Chae-rim but also rookie players selected by draft will definitely play their part in the team."
